First, and most importantly, thank you for everyone’s kind and thoughtful words over the past couple of days. I’m constantly realizing how blessed I am to be a part of this community and how much I rely on you for support!
Since it’s Wednesday (although it feels like it should be Friday AND I work 6 six days this week, so my Friday is actually Saturday) it’s time for the WIAW party, hosted by Jenn at Peas&Crayons. She rocks, and so does everyone’s WIAW eats, so hop on over there after checking out mine for some menu inspiration!
For breakfast, I started with the pinnacle of the day’s eats, my favorite hot cereal + Kind granola + Justin’s Maple Almond butter.
Even though the almond butter is hidden, I SWEAR it’s in there!
See it now?
For lunch, I used up my almost wilted mixed baby greens, cucumber and bananas for a totally satisfying lunch.
I’m on a never-ending cottage cheese and hummus kick, so I had to include those in the mix.
And Crunchmaster crackers (GF) are always in order. Because they rock.
Dinner was disappointing – I tried the Glutenfreeda GF burritos, and experience a meal #FAIL.
I don’t like giving negative reviews, but finding good GF products is hard. The “tortilla” was tough and the overall effect was bland and texture-light. I’d recommend the Amy’s GF burritos – they are much better!
The veggies were good though. I actually went back for seconds on those and finished the burrito, totally neglecting my intuitive eating plan. I think I kept hoping the next bite would be better. But it wasn’t.
Also not a success – my “I don’t have time to straigten my hair” look.
Attitude notwithstanding, even a STELLAR one couldn’t pull off this look.
Time for another trip to the hairstylist. I swear I’m ALWAYS in her chair when my hair’s red.
So high maintenance.
What part of your “beauty routine” is the most high maintenance? What do you neglect when you run out of time?
